On the upper floor of Maidenhead St Ives Rd Library most if not all of the tables and chairs have  been replaced with new furniture.

1) Why was the existing furniture replaced ?

2) What was the cost of the new furniture ?

3) Has the old furniture been scrapped, sold or redeployed to other Libraries? If none of the aforementioned what has happened to the furniture?
