Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request the following information:

1.    The council’s records retention policy relating to complaints made under the Members’ Code of Conduct.

2.    Whether records of complaints made against councillors between 2007 and 2019 are:
a) retained,
b) archived, or
c) deleted after a set period.

3.    If such records are no longer held, please confirm:
a) when they were deleted or disposed of, and
b) under what policy or authority.

4.    The job title (not name if exempt) of the Monitoring Officer(s) responsible for handling complaints during this period.

5.    Whether any summary data is held on the number of complaints made against councillors during this period, even if individual case records are no longer held.
