Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request the following information relating to complaints made about Cllr Simon Dudley during his time as Cabinet Member (May 2007 – June 2016) and Leader of the Council (June 2016 – September 2019).
Please limit the scope of this request to recorded complaints held centrally by the council (e.g. Standards, Monitoring Officer, or formal complaints records).
1.    The total number of complaints made against Cllr Simon Dudley during this period.
2.    A breakdown of those complaints by outcome, specifically:
o    Upheld
o    Not upheld
o    Resolved informally
o    Withdrawn (if applicable)
3.    The general category or subject matter of complaints (for example: conduct, behaviour, declarations of interest, public statements), in anonymised summary form.
4.    The number of complaints that resulted in a formal investigation under the council’s standards or complaints procedures.
5.    The number of complaints that resulted in any form of sanction or recommended action.
I am not requesting personal data. Any identifying details (including complainants’ names or sensitive personal information) can be redacted as necessary.
If it would assist in complying within the cost limit, I am happy for the response to be limited to summary data rather than full documents.
