This correspondence constitutes a formal request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

We request disclosure of the unredacted version of the officer email dated 17 February 2026 published on the Council’s public planning register, which currently appears in heavily redacted form and is annotated “without prejudice” and “helpful advice.”

Specifically, we request:

2. Confirmation of the exemption(s) relied upon for any redactions applied.

3. A copy of the public interest test undertaken (if applicable).

4. Clarification as to whether the redacted material constitutes legal advice protected by legal professional privilege, or routine planning officer correspondence with the Applicant / Agent.
