I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I would like to request the following information regarding inspections of all road bridges for which your authority is responsible.
1. A complete list of all road bridges under your authority’s ownership or maintenance responsibility.
a) For each bridge, please provide its name, unique structure reference number, and location.
b) For each bridge, please provide the date of the most recent General Inspection.
c) For each bridge, please provide the date of the most recent Principal Inspection.
d) For each bridge, please provide the date of the most recent Safety Inspection.
e) For each bridge, please provide the date of the most recent Special Inspection, where applicable, and the reason for that inspection.
2. For each bridge, please confirm the scheduled due date for the next:
a) General Inspection.
b) Principal Inspection.
3. Where any Principal Inspection interval has been extended beyond the standard six year cycle under a risk based assessment, please provide:
a) The revised inspection interval in years.
b) The date on which the extension was approved.
c) The authority or role responsible for approving the extension.
