Request

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act), I am writing to request the following information held by Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (the Council) regarding the decision making process and implementation of road closure for Clewer Hill Road.
Information Requested:
Please provide all information relating to the Council’s decision to close Clewer Hill Road at the junction with St Leonard’s Road and Winkfield Road between 5 January 2026 until 24 February 2026 (the Closure). To assist with your search, I am specifically interested in:
•    the impact assessment that was carried out to consider the impact on residents of the Closure;
•    the assessment of the impact of the Closure on residents with protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010,with particular regard to the Council’s discharge of its statutory obligations as part of its Public Sector Equality Duty under the Equality Act 2010. As you are aware, the Equality Act 2010 requires the Council to "have due regard" to eliminate discrimination and must actively consider equality in all of their decision-making and functions (which, for the avoidance of doubt, includes the decision to permit and facilitate the Closure);
•    detailed assessments carried out by the Council to consider mitigations and/or alternatives to the Closure (i.e. the full closure of the road);
•    the implementation project plan for the Closure, including measures taken to communicate the Closure to residents and the steps taken to ensure notification and continuation of statutory services, such as rubbish/refuse collection.
