For the 2024/25 financial year, please confirm the total number of domiciliary care hours actually delivered.
Where there is any difference between commissioned hours and delivered hours in 2024/25, please provide:
a) the total shortfall or variance in hours, and
b) any recorded reasons for this variance (for example staffing shortages, provider capacity issues, service user cancellations, hospital admissions, or other causes).
Re the total amount (£) paid to domiciliary care providers in 2024/25, please confirm whether this differs from the total value of care commissioned for the same period.
Please confirm how many individuals in 2024/25:
a) were assessed as requiring domiciliary care, and
b) did not receive their full assessed care package for any period of time.
Where information is held, please provide the average length of time that individuals waited in 2024/25 to receive their full domiciliary care package following assessment.
Please confirm:
a) the number of domiciliary care providers delivering services on behalf of the council in 2024/25, and
b) whether any providers handed back contracts, reduced capacity, or ceased providing services during that year.
Please provide information on how the council monitors whether commissioned domiciliary care hours are delivered as planned, and what action is taken when providers repeatedly fail to deliver the agreed level of care.
