Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am requesting full disclosure of financial and logistical information concerning the state visit of Donald and Milania Trump to the United Kingdom, which took place from 16 to 18 September 2025.
Specifically, I request:
1. Complete Funding Breakdown - Please provide all available details regarding sources of funding used to support the visit, including:
a. UK central government departments and agencies (e.g., Cabinet Office, Foreign Office, Home Office, Ministry of Defence, DCMS).
b. Local authorities or councils:
i.    Whether any council tax revenue was used to fund any part of the visit.
ii.    Names of involved councils, nature of expenditure (e.g., policing, road closures, local hospitality), and funding amounts.
iii.    The Royal Household (including whether any funding was reimbursed by government departments).
iv.    Corporate sponsorships, hospitality or third-party (private sector) contributions.
c. Private individuals or civilian donors:
i.    Names where available or at least general classifications.
ii.    Estimated amounts and the form of the contribution (monetary, in-kind, services, etc.).
2.    Purpose of the Visit
a.    Official UK government objectives for hosting the visit.
b.    Strategic or diplomatic goats declared before, during, or after the visit.
3. Total Estimated Cost to UK Taxpayers:
a.    An estimate of the total public expenditure on the visit, including:
i.    Breakdown by department and category (e.g., transport, hospitality, security, ceremonial costs, infrastructure).
ii.    Indication of which portions, if any, were covered by council tax funds or local authority budgets.
If any of the requested information is withheld or redacted, please indicate the specific exemptions being relied upon and provide an estimated date for release or review.
