Could you explain how your asset system works in practice? I.e., can you simply search up “quantity of bridges” and it’ll give you a number or is it more complex? 
For your local authority, how do you define a “bridge”, and how often does the system change?
And what is a “substandard bridge”, is it a bridge that is measured to be substandard, or is it an automatic classification if there hasn’t been a specific inspection in a certain amount of time?
