FOI001227 FOI Housing

I am writing to submit the following Freedom of Information Request:

“Whether the Council is taking out contracts with private landlords in the Royal Borough to house asylum seekers and illegal economic migrants, and if so:
1.    What is the total cost of these contracts?
2.    How many properties across the Royal Borough are being used for this purpose, as of the time of reply to this request?
3.    What is the distribution by ward of the properties?
4.    What is the average length of the contracts?”
5.    Whether any of the above also apply to contracts taken out for the purpose of housing social tenants as part of the Council’s social housing target obligations?
