In light of recent legislation I understand new short term lets may require planning permission, see https://www.gov.uk/government/news/short-term-lets-rules-to-protect-communities-and-keep-homes-available.

Can you confirm if:

1) The council has implemented these rules, or has any plans to do so, or if they are already in effective.
2) If the council has implemented these rules, what date is it effective from, such that a property previously rented out as a short term let can continue being used as such. Please also provide any other criteria you would use to make the determination that a property is an existing short term let.
