Throughout the period 2017 to 2020 there were numerous public statement by officers and councillors regarding the funding of RBWM's contribution to the River Thames Scheme by way of a multi-year council tax flood levy, all of them claiming that discussions with the Department and Secretary of State were ongoing. Most notably by former Councillor Cannon from 2019 and former Councillor Rankin from 2017 to 2019. However, there is a considerable body of public opinion that believes no such discussions ever took place.

I would like to see all communications, whether by letter, email, text, SMS or social media by officers, councillors and Government Departments or agencies that reference the River Thames Scheme and its funding for the period 1st January 2017 to the 31st of December 2020.
