Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) need to be open and transparent and are required to keep and maintain a register of interests of all members, which should be updated on a regular basis.

ICBs are required to have systems in place for managing conflicts of interest on an ongoing basis, not only in developing commissioning proposals and in making commissioning decisions but in monitoring a contract that has been awarded to a provider in which an individual has an interest.
