The main purpose of the community wardens' scheme is to reduce crime and disorder and link together all parts of the community, acting as a highly visible reassuring presence.

Public space protection orders

PSPOs are intended to deal with a particular nuisance or problem in an area that negatively affects the local community's quality of life by imposing restrictions on certain behaviours.
