Citizenship ceremonies

We hold our public group ceremonies on set dates in the Ceremony Room at the Register Office in the Town Hall in Maidenhead. You will receive your naturalisation certificate at the end of the ceremony.

We are also able to offer private ceremonies for an additional fee should you require more flexibility with the date of the ceremony, or to have a larger number of guests.

For details of how to apply to become a British Citizen, please contact the Home Office.

Applicants are required to attend a ceremony within three months of the approval being given otherwise they may have to make a new application.
