Compliance garages

Certificate of Compliance (MOT)

A certificate of compliance from one of the council's approved garages; a compliance certificate must be no older than 28 days on the date of the issue of the licence. For vehicles over nine years of age from the date of first registration must have a certificate of compliance every six months.

Once a vehicle reaches 12 months of age, from the first date of registration, a certificate of compliance is required.   A vehicle that is under 12 months from the date of registration does not require an MOT or Compliance Certificate.
