The work needs to be staggered and cannot be one continuous activity. For example, there are ‘curing periods’ for certain materials, taking several days to complete.
The first phase will see the re-waterproofing of the bridge and once completed future phases will include bearing replacement, parapet repair and resurfacing.
For the safety of the construction workers and the public, activity will be paused during periods of low light and the work will stop at a similar time in the evening. Please be aware that the work will be weather dependent.
Working hours will be limited to 7am to 9pm (up to seven days a week when required). If work outside these times is required, the community will be notified in advance.
