Cookham Bridge: Project updates

Since the previous update

Final works underneath the bridge have been continuing and the following activities are now complete:

  • Bearing pad cages complete on all 4 corners 
  • New bearings installation completed 
  • Concrete pads poured and completed
  • Grout beds round the bearings completed
  • Bridge 100% de-jacked 
  • Painting the underside of the deck at each abutment complete 
  • Brick facade reinstated on the north

Remaining activities

  • Remaining brick façade to reinstate 
  • Bearing shelf to reinstate
  • Drainage to reinstate
  • Strike scaffold  
  • Site clear to complete and de-mobilisation
