How to make an appeal
You cannot go through this appeal process if:
- you are appealing for a lower preference school if you have been offered a higher preference school.
- if your child has an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP), you will need to contact the Children and Young People Disability Service (CYPDS) via email at cypds@achievingforchildren.org.uk.
- if your child has been permanently excluded from two or more schools for two years after the second or any subsequent exclusion.
If you have been refused a place at one of the following schools, you have the right to appeal to us against the decision.
