The Council is required to prepare and maintain a Local Development Scheme (LDS), a timetable for the production of new or revised Local Plans. The current LDS took effect on Sunday 1 January 2023 and covers the period 2023 to 2025. It states that over this period, the council will progress a Development Plan Document entitled the 'Traveller Local Plan'.
Please note that there is no longer a requirement for LDS to include the timetables for Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs). Updates on the progress of SPDs, and also emerging Neighbourhood Plans, will be provided on the Council’s website.
