Building Height and Tall Building Supplementary Planning Document Consultation

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council has prepared the Building Height and Tall Buildings Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for public consultation, and we are keen to hear your views on it.

Policy QP3a of the adopted Borough Local Plan (BLP) commits the Council to preparing an SPD to identify locations that present opportunities for tall buildings in the Royal Borough, together with site-specific recommendations on building height. The draft SPD provides additional detailed guidance on location, height and design of tall buildings and sets application requirements for tall buildings.

The consultation will run for six weeks from Tuesday 30 August until midnight on Tuesday 11 October 2022.

In person and online engagement events will be held on the following dates and times:

Thursday 8 September from 2pm to 6.30pm – Maidenhead Library drop-in session 
Wednesday 28 September from 6pm to 8pm – Online event via Microsoft Teams – Join this session
