This month we have offers from Windsor Castle, The Savill Garden, Headmasters, The Guildhall Windsor and Windsor & Royal Borough Museum.

Windsor Castle 

Windsor Castle is hosting a special display of HRH Princess Beatrice of York’s wedding dress, first worn by Her Majesty The Queen in the 1960s and designed by the renowned British fashion designer Sir Norman Hartnell. The wedding dress is on display in the State Dining Room, one of the Semi-State Rooms, which open to the public each year between September and March. Free Windsor Castle Advantage Card entry is only available on the day and entry is subject to availability. If you want to guarantee a time slot, for example if you’re visiting with friends who have pre-booked, you can book your ticket by phone for a £2 fee. The Advantage Card free entry doesn’t allow priority entry, so please be prepared to queue. Please take along your Advantage Card for all those visiting including children, staff will check before entry. Please don’t attempt to use a borrowed Advantage Card, it will be confiscated. (If your image on the card isn’t clear, take along an additional form of photo ID). For pre-booked tickets, the ticket sales and information office’s telephone lines will be open from 10.30am until 6pm every day on +44(0) 303 123 7304. 

The Savill Garden

Art in the Garden at The Savill Garden takes place from 23 September to 3 November. This exhibition provides a wonderful combination of art and horticultural excellence. Explore the colourful gardens and encounter 66 sculptures of varying styles, subjects and materials; all inspired by the natural world. This event has been curated with the Surrey Sculpture Society, selecting pieces that inspire and complement their beautiful surroundings. All the art is available to purchase. A limited number of daily Savill Garden tickets are available for online purchase only. Friends of The Savill Garden and Members of Windsor Great Park do not need to book ahead, see more at Advantage Card holders will need to enter the code RBWM241 at checkout and will need to bring their Advantage Card with them when they collect their tickets or they will be required to pay for full priced tickets. (The Savill Garden are not able to retroactively apply the discount after payment. Offer only valid on standard full priced adult and not valid in conjunction with any other offer.) Windsor Guildhall

Save £400 on a wedding at the Windsor Guildhall. Visit Windsor & Royal Borough Museum’s free outdoor exhibition remembering the First World War. Go on a journey around town and enjoy the sounds and sights of Windsor’s past whilst listening to their podcast. From the comfort of your own home, take an online tour of the museum and Guildhall or download resources to be a curator at home. You can even challenge yourselves with their ‘What am I?’ quiz.

COVID-19 reminder

Cases in the Borough are disproportionately centred on people aged between 18 to 34 years, but we all have to play our part. You may not experience the worst of symptoms yourself but you may pass it on to loved ones who do. Please play your part in stopping the spread and help keep everyone safe - keep your distance, wash your hands, wear a face covering. If you have any symptoms, stay at home and get a test immediately. If you’ve been abroad to a country that’s not on the exemption list, you need to self-isolate for 14 days.

To protect yourself and others, you must:

  • wash your hands regularly and for at least 20 seconds
  • wear a face covering over your nose and mouth in enclosed spaces
  • stay at least a metre away from people not in your household
  • if you have symptoms, get a test immediately
