Number of ballots rejected was as follows: Voting for more answers than required 1 and Being unmarked or wholly void for uncertainty 17
Turnout was 30.38%
It was therefore declared that more than half of those voting have voted YES in response to the question ‘Do you want the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Datchet to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?

Referendum on the adoption of the Datchet Neighbourhood Plan
- A referendum will be held on Thursday 4 May 2023 to decide on the question below:
‘Do you want the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Datchet to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?
- Applications to be included on the register of electors for this referendum must be received no later than 11.59pm on Monday 17 April 2023. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
- New applications for, or amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of existing proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, at the address given below by 5pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023.
- Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead by 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate can be made online: GOV.UK website.
- New applications to vote by proxy at this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, at the address given below by 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023.
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this referendum applied for on grounds of physical incapacity, or because of works reasons, that occurred after 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead by 5pm on Thursday 4 May 2023.
