Residents' survey 2022

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is undertaking a survey of residents’ views, attitudes and priorities over July and August 2022.

The survey will provide a robust source of data on:

  • residents’ perceptions of the council,
  • views on their communities, their priorities, concerns and wellbeing.

This information will be used to help the council to shape its priorities, and will inform the design of policies and services.

It will also enable the council to measure progress against some of our Corporate Plan goals and to strengthen our understanding of issues where little data is available, such as:

  • the impact of the cost of living increases, and,
  • the strength of community networks across the borough.

The results will enable the council to explore how views differ between people with different characteristics, and living in different parts of the borough.

The results of the survey will be published in the autumn. We will keep you informed on how the insight we have gained is then used to inform action.

Please see our frequently asked questions for more detail.

Remember: the council will never cold call you and ask for financial details over the phone.

Survey partner: Lake Market Research

The council is working with Lake Market Research, who will be conducting the survey on our behalf.

  • The survey partner will interview a representative sample of 1700 residents.
  • Interviews will be conducted by telephone, supplemented by face to face interviews.

Please note that participants will be selected to participate using random digit dialling and mobile phone data, to ensure that the sample is representative of the Borough.
