Consultation on more school places at Windsor Girls' School
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and the Windsor Learning Partnership are expanding Windsor Girls' School.
This consultation has now closed, and the outcome was reported to Cabinet in June 2021 (item 6h on that page). At that meeting Cabinet approved funding for the proposed expansion.
What was the proposal?
Windsor Girls’ School is to be permanently expanded from 208 to 230 places per year group, with new accommodation in place by September 2023. Planning permission for the new build was granted in September 2022.
The DfE has, in December 2022, given formal permission for the academy to expand.
