Nick originally qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, and started working life, at the commercial property agency Edward Erdman (now Colliers). He then went on to join Strutt and Parker (now BNP Paribas Real Estate) where he became an Equity Partner. Since 2015 Nick has run his own property advisory company Nick Young & Co.
Nick specialises in the retail, leisure and mixed-use sectors and in particular advising developers, landlords, local authorities and occupiers with regard to development, leasing and asset management.
He has been involved in some of the leading retail, mixed use and urban regeneration projects in the UK and Ireland including Liverpool One, SouthGate - Bath, One New Change – City of London, Friars Walk - Newport, Liffey Valley – Dublin, Parkway – Newbury, Buchanan Galleries – Glasgow.
Nick has lived in and around Maidenhead for the last 30 years and has also been involved in a number of commercial property related activities in the Maidenhead and Windsor area.
