Griff is a qualified Town Planner and began his career in local government. Subsequently, he joined the private housing and property sector where he had several posts at board level as managing director for national and regional house builders. He has also worked as director for a major housing association.
He has spent seven years with the Berkeley Group as managing director of St George (South London) and Berkeley (Hampshire) in the former role he led the acquisition and planning of their flagship development at St George Wharf in Vauxhall. Latterly, he was director of development for a G15 London Housing Association. Here he led the business into the creation of a highly successful private development programme.
