Jonathan heads the Development Debt Consultancy, aiming to provide developers with the best source of debt for all stages of property development, from site acquisition through to enabling works and then the development itself and finally post practical completion finance.
This uses the structuring skills from his previous role as an originator in Lloyds ‘s Commercial Real Estate development finance team and wide range of contacts with lenders of all sorts (mainstream banks, specialist lenders and funds).
He is deeply involved in public rented sector (PRS), understanding both the development and operational aspects. He joined the Urban Land Institute (ULI) PRS study tour to the USA in 2015 and wrote the PRS lending strategy for Lloyds Bank.
He sits on the ULI Residential Council and the Commercial Real Estate Finance Committee (CREFC) buy to rent steering group and takes the development debt element of the CREFC Executive Training Course.
