The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead's Youth Service provides meeting places and activities for young people aged 11-25. It also works with and supports a wide range of affiliated voluntary youth sector projects that provide a similar service.

Youth workers operate throughout the Borough, and, whilst being based at youth centres, also meet groups of young people where they tend to hang out (Detached/Outreach Youth Work Projects).
The service has a curriculum that is delivered through a planned programme, and aims to offer all young people the opportunity to pursue and develop new and interesting activities as well as providing information and advice on matters that concern them. In short, the Borough's Youth Service endeavours to help young people make the most of their lives.
WAMster is a brand new website dedicated to the borough's young people.
It offers them a wide range of information and help in finding local jobs,
learning more about local events and activities they can take part in and will
also have regularly updated articles in various areas of potential interest to
young people, such as music, sport, and film, whilst also enabling them to
share their own opinions on these areas of interest with other young people in
the borough. To find out more about this site visit the
WAMster website.
