Subscribed Garden Waste Collection Service - Frequently Asked Questions

You will be able to put the following green waste into your bin:

  • Hedge trimmings
  • Grass cuttings
  • Leaves
  • Weeds, dead flowers
  • Small branches/twigs (2 inch in diameter maximum and must be cut to fin the bin)
  • Prunings
  • Christmas trees as long as it is chopped up and the lid closed.

Please note: This waste must be loose and not in plastic bags/sacks/bin liners - otherwise this will result in non-collection.

  1. How often will the collection be?
  2. Will the collection be on the same day as my refuse and recycling?
