A to Z of Waste

Rubbish is comprised of many different elements and although most of that which is produced in the household can be simply put into the wheeled bin and forgotten about, some items can and should be treated in different ways.

These pages are designed to offer practical advice and suggestions on how to dispose of different items of waste. This may include options for recycling different items or suggestions on how to dispose of materials that may not be produced everyday.

What is rubbish to one person may be useful to another. Below are listed a number of reuse exchanges.

The Freecycle Network is a nonprofit organisation where people can exchange goods. For further information or to join Freecycle visit http://www.freecycle.org
