Oil -
Motor Oil -
A container is provided at the Civic
Amenity Site in Stafferton Way, Maidenhead, where used engine oil may be
deposited for recycling.
Some repair garages also provide banks.
Your nearest bank can be found by calling 0800 663366.
Cooking Oil -
Small quantities could be soaked in bread to feed the birds or put onto compost
heaps.
Disposal of used oil should not be made via drains or the foul sewer. The best
available option is to put the oil into containers to be disposed of via the
normal domestic waste stream.
