Pools - WLC
LEISURE POOL
Listen out for the "Storm Warning". Feel the excitement build as you look forward to surfing the waves.
All the water features are such splashing fun! Aqua thrills for everyone; with Monsoon and Cyclone the two Giant Slides,
Wild Water Creek, Olly the Octopus and his Water Cannons, the umbrella fountain and even a chance to relax in the poolside Bubble Tubs. Toddlers enjoy splashing about on the Beach and slide into our water on our Sandcastle slide.
With over 21s nights, after school madness, H2YO on Friday nights, adult only morning sessions and parent and toddler sessions, there's something for everyone.
FITNESS POOL
The 25 metre 6 lane pool is ideal for length swimming. Immerse yourself in one of the programmed sessions throughout the day. Whether you are one of swimming's sprinters, joggers or strollers the Fitness Pool will let you join in the swim of things.
Movable Pool Floor
One of the special design features of the Fitness Pool is that the deep area has an adjustable floor which can be raised or lowered to a range of depths from zero to 2.1m. A telescopic boom divides the pool to enable different activitities to take place at the same time e.g. length swimming and children's lessons (as you can see in this picture)
Safety First
Your safety and well-being throughout the building is our priority. Nowhere is this more important than in the Pools and for this reason we ask that you abide by the following safety rules.
