The London 2012 Games are not just about sport. They will also celebrate cultures, people and languages - in London, the UK and around the world. The four-year Cultural Olympiad started September 2008 and July 2009 marked the 3 year countdown to the 2012 Games. In the Royal Borough we have started to think about what we can achieve over the next few years that will provide a lasting legacy. This area, part of the Dorney Corridor, is one of 4 priority areas for new cultural activity inspired by 2012.
