Windsor and Eton Relief Road (WERR)

The Windsor and Eton relief road and Clarence Road roundabout road improvements scheme (WERR) started on Monday 21 June and is due to be completed by March 2011.

Work on the relief road has to be carried out to ensure the road remains safe for users and to bring the road up to today's current standards. Clarence Road roundabout will be redesigned to improve the flow of traffic through this key junction.

And while road works do mean an impact on road users, a key priority throughout the work will be to minimise traffic delays and to minimise the effect of this essential work on local residents, businesses and motorists.
