Volunteering opportunities at local organisations around the borough

Windsor and Maidenhead Voluntary Action (WMVA) - aims to provide a 'one stop shop' for the voluntary sector & for volunteering in support of the community needs in the Royal Borough.

Berkshire Action For All - This website has information about events and activities run by voluntary groups, parish and town councils, pubs and village shops, and details of volunteering opportunities and vacancies.

Do It - Volunteering made easy -Volunteering is simple. It's about giving your time to do something useful, without getting paid (apart from expenses). In return you get the satisfaction of time and effort well spent. In addition, volunteering can be a great way to: meet new people learn new skills gain useful experience. It should also be fun!

The Localgiving.com Berkshire. Make a difference in your community. Local charities do great work and they need help. Match Fund has raised over £25,000, boosting Berkshire charities and community groups by over £50,000!

Princes Trust - Are you aged 18-30, unemployed, have an idea for a business but can't raise all the cash you need from anywhere else? Start-up support from The Prince's Trust could help you get up and running.

Timebank - Timebank helps you find things to do close to where you work and live. Volunteer on a TimeBank project. We don't just offer advice and support to get you into volunteering. In our quest to make volunteering as rewarding as possible - we design our own projects.

Vinspired - for 16-25 year olds the national young volunteers service, is an independent charity dedicated to helping young people volunteer in ways that matter to them. Its mission is to make volunteering opportunities so diverse, compelling and easy to get involved with that giving up your time to help others becomes a natural lifestyle choice.

Women's Aid - Volunteers play a huge part in the ongoing success of our organisation. Whether volunteering for a day or two throughout the year or for a few hours every week, each & every one of our volunteers is valued for their contribution. In return for your time & effort, you will receive valuable work experience, a full induction and training package plus the satisfaction of knowing you are helping us to change lives.

YouthNet - is the UK's first exclusively online charity. We guide and support young people, enabling them to make informed choices, participate in society and achieve their ambitions.

Windsor & Winkfield Community First Responders are volunteers trained by South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS) to attend emergency calls in the area where we live or work. Our aim is to reach a potential life threatening emergency, such as a cardiac arrest, in the first vital minutes before the ambulance crew arrives on scene.

We're recruiting responders in Windsor, Winkfield, Old Windsor, Eton, and Datchet.
