There are many places that you can get local support for the starting up, running and training connected with small businesses. This page contains details of some of those organisations that can assist.

Developing Connections

The Centre for Developing Connections is the first of its kind in the Borough. Under one roof the Centre provides a range of comprehensive information, advice and support services for businesses and individuals. It has proven to be a great success - in its first year it was predicted to help 2,000 clients but actually helped over 5,000!  Furthermore, to cope with this encouraging response the Centre has had to expand to meet the demands placed on its resources.

Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce promotes the interests of the business community on both a regional and national level.
For a modest subscription businesses receive a variety of benefits including access to a range of business services, a voice on local and national issues, entry in the Chamber's yearbook, newsletters and mailshots, as well as a full social calendar.
