This web page is intended to provide a central source of information on local cycling events. If you are organising or taking part in an event and you would like to add it to the list, then email the details to: transport.planning@rbwm.gov.uk

  • Ride + Stride (external link) is organised by the Berkshire Churches Trust to raise money for the restoration and maintenance of local historic churches and chapels. There are events across the country - the Windsor event is held on a Saturday during the first half of September. Participants donate half of their sponsorship money to the church of their choice and half to the Trust.
  • The London to Windsor (external link) charity ride takes place annually in September, raising money for the British Heart Foundation. There is a choice of a 37 miles on-road route from Richmond Green to Alexandra Gardens in Windsor, or a 29 mile route that's perfect for families. Both follow leafy lanes and through the pretty villages of the Thames Valley.
  • Palace to Palace (external link) is a mass participation fundraising event, where cyclists ride 45 miles between Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle raising funds for the Prince's Trust. The 2012 event is provisionally booked for 14th October.
