Energy Efficiency in Schools

Our schools require a lot of energy in order to function, most of that energy is used for heating, lighting and IT equipment. With energy bills increasing, it is important for schools to keep energy use as low as possible, in order to continue to be able to provide the current level of teaching, within budget.

The council are keen to support schools to reduce energy, and are currently working on a framework to guide schools through a process to reduce energy.
