Who can Supporting People help?

Nationally the Supporting People programme can help these vulnerable groups:

  • people with a learning disability
  • people with mental health problems
  • older people
  • ex-offenders
  • people with a physical or sensory impairment
  • mobile communities
  • young people at risk
  • the homeless
  • victims of domestic abuse
  • people suffering with HIV/AIDS
  • pregnant teenagers
  • substance mis-users
  • asylum seekers and refugees
