Supporting People

Supporting People helps vulnerable people to have a good quality of life by providing support services that enable them to live as independently as possible in their own accommodation.

Mission Statement:

Councillor Simon Dudley explains that the vision for the local Supporting People programme is in synergy with the Borough's overarching aims to provide inclusive local services:

'To provide good quality housing related support services to vulnerable people to enable them to live independently within the community and stay safe and healthy whilst maximising their opportuntities to learn new skills and develop as individuals.'

This vision helps deliver the aims of the Borough's Community Strategy 2007 - 13 which represents its' Sustainable Communities Plan.
