Safeguarding Adults Awareness Week

13 to 17 June 2011

During this week in the Royal Borough, there will be a particular focus on awareness of safeguarding adults from abuse. We are doing this by giving out information in order to raise awareness of adult abuse and the need to protect those particular adults who may be vulnerable to abuse by others.

There will be information stands across the Borough at the following sites

• Town Hall, Maidenhead
• Library, Maidenhead
• Library, Windsor
• York House, Windsor
• Windsor Leisure Centre
• Magnet Leisure Centre, Maidenhead
• Maidenhead, St Marks Hospital,
• Heatherwood Hospital, Ascot
• King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor

There will be a stand and people to talk to about safeguarding adults from abuse at the following town centres:

• 16 June 2011, 10am-3pm - Peascod Street, Windsor (outside the post office)
• 17 June 2011, 10am-3pm - High Street, Maidenhead (outside Natwest)

Please take the time to drop by and collect some information and help spread the word!
