Safeguarding Adults Week

Safeguarding Adults Awareness Week

was on 11 to 15 June 2012

During the week in the Royal Borough, there was a particular focus on awareness of safeguarding adults and risk from abuse. We had publicity points with information displayed to raise awareness of adult abuse and the importance of protecting those adults who may be more vulnerable to abuse by others.

The information stands were at different sites across the Borough including the Town Hall and the Libraries in Maidenhead and in Windsor. There were also stands at the two Leisure Centres and NHS sites.

On Friday 15 June we were in the Nicholsons Centre, Maidenhead! Allowing people to pop by to talk to about safeguarding adults from abuse.

Safeguarding Adults is everyone's business...please make it yours!
