Social Care Complaints Publications

This section details the complaints procedures for Social Care services.  You can download relevant procedures dependent on the service you wish to make a complaint about.

Adult Social Care Complaints

The aim of Adult Social Care is to make sure that local people get the best possible care at times when they need our help. However, there may be occasions when you are unhappy with what we are doing, or feel that you are being denied the help you need.

If this happens you have the right to complain. This leaflet explains how we will try to sort out any disagreements and difficulties and what you should do to make a formal complaint.

Safeguarding and Specialist Services (Children's Social Care)

When families have problems they can usually sort things out for themselves, but sometimes they need outside help and support until things get back to normal. The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Safeguarding and Specialist Services aim to provide the best possible service to people who need our help - but when children, young people, parents or other members of a family are unhappy with what we are doing for them, they have the right to complain.

This leaflet explains how we will try to sort out problems or disagreements about the services we provide and what children and parents can do if they decide to make a complaint.
