Description: The service aims to work with young people (aged 16-35) and their families to help them deal with symptoms of psychosis and prevent serious long term mental health difficulties. This service is for those experiencing their first episode of psychosis. The overall aim is to improve the longer term outcome and quality of life.

Common conditions treated: services are for people with severe and / or enduring conditions: Psychotic illness (such as schizophrenia), Bipolar disorder, Prodromal psychotic symptoms.

You can access our services through: A GP referral to the Duty and Assessment Team at the Community Mental Health Team.
