The Windsor Mencap Buddy Scheme

From April 1st 2009, Windsor Mencap will be taking over the Buddy Scheme. Oakbridge Centre will no longer be involved in managing this scheme and Julie Coole and Linda Hurdwell will be taking over Celia's role organising activities for the Buddy Scheme.

Julie and Lin are delighted that they have secured further funding to continue the Buddy Scheme. Julie and Lin will be arranging the outings and activities (and hopefully some week-end breaks away) and contacting members. As Oakbridge is no longer organising these outings, you need to contact us in future with any queries or information regarding the buddy scheme or trips out. The staff from Oakbridge (including Celia) and buddies, will continue to participate as before ensuring that the outings continue to be enjoyable and safe

All of us at Windsor Mencap thank Celia for all her hard work over the last four years developing the scheme and making it such a success, and we are delighted that she is still going to be involved with us.
