Hospital

A stay in hospital may result in a change in your circumstances, either for the short-term or the long-term. If you are already claiming benefits or are receiving services from Adult Services, these could need to be altered during your stay in hospital. After hospital, it may be appropriate for a review of your needs and entitlements.

If you were not previously receiving a service, you could become eligible following your hospital stay. You may be helped to recover and regain your independence through the use of a short-term rehabilitation service or you may need ongoing services.
