Social Services - Making a Complaint

The aim of Social Services is to make sure that local people get the best possible care at times when they need our help.

However, there may be occasions when you are unhappy with what we are doing, or feel that you are being denied the help you need.

When this happens, you have the right to complain. Social Services have a simple-to-use complaints procedure, which can be used by anyone who has a problem with the Directorate.

If you are unhappy with what we are doing we would advise that you first contact your Care Manager or Social Worker. However if you would prefer an informal conversation about making a complaint please feel free to call Complaints Officer, Christine King on 01628 796721.

You can also fill out an online Comment, Compliment or Complaint form, which will be emailed directly to the Borough's Social Services email inbox. Please click here for the Comment, Compliment of Complaint Online Form.
