  • AAA - Ascot Area Alzheimer's – Tel: 01344 621491. 
    Offers respite care and support.   Support group meets the third Thursday of every month at Winkfield Manor, Forest Road, Winkfield at 7.30pm.

     Run a series of Carers lunches, social evenings and drop-ins in Maidenhead,  Slough and Windsor. 
  • Care Plus - Tel: 01344 622950. 
    A support group for all carers living in the Royal Borough.  Regular meetings  held bi-monthly at Lynwood Residential Home, Sunninghill usually on  Tuesday at 14.30.  Also hold bi-monthly social lunches.
  • Carers UK (Slough & District).  Tel: 01753 774556.  Friday Bi-monthly meetings of the carers forum 12.00-14.00.  Ragstone Road, Slough. 
  • Maidenhead, Slough & District Multiple Sclerosis Society - Carers Group Tel: 01628 631192. Regular meetings and fun outings.
  • Maidenhead & Windsor Crossroads  - Tel: 01753 833788 http://www.crossroadswindsorandmaidenhead.org.uk/
    Crossroads is a charity that provides respite care for carers in their own  home.  Also provide social outings and drop-ins for carers. Crossroads Evening Carers' Group meets on the first Wednesday of the month. 19.30-21.00. St Joseph's Centre, Cookham Road, Maidenhead.
  • Day Care Plus.  Tel: 01344 620984.  Saturdays 10.00am -16.00pm. Ascot District Day Centre, Bagshot Road, Sunninghill.  The centre is open for those who are cared for at home and for all frail people of all ages.  Two nurses are present and lunch is available.
  • East Berkshire Autistic Support Group. Tel. 01628 419066
  • Windsor and Maidenhead Mental Health Carers Group.  Carer Support Worker Tel: 01628 626948.  Meet first Thursday of each month at CMHT, Reform Road, Maidenhead.
  • Maidenhead & District Mencap – Tel: 01628 670838 (Support Worker Tel: 01494 880047) Highview, 6 North Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1PL . Promotes the welfare of people with a learning disability.  Information & support for people with learning disability and their Carers. Adult Club, Mon 7.00pm-9.00pm; and for those adults who need extra support: Wed 7.00pm – 9.00pm. / Sat (Youth) Club 10.00am-12.00pm. Carers Drop-in sessions held first Wednesday of each month at Bridge That Gap, 10.30am - 12.00 noon.

  • Thames Hospicecare – Pine Lodge, Hatch Lane, Windsor, SL4 3RW    Tel:01753 842121.  The Hospice cares for terminally ill patients.  It also offers respite schemes for up to two weeks to give Carers and relatives a break during the illness.  They can also accommodate patients for periods of symptom control. The Hospice has a day centre.

  • Parents in Partnership Forum - Tel: 01628 683182.  A group for parents of a child with a disability or special educational needs aimed at increasing knowledge of services and communication between families and statutory organisations.
