A Transport Related Direct Payment is a Direct Payment made by the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. It is for people who are unable to use public transport and have no other means of getting out and about and who meet our eligibility criteria. This scheme was previously referred to as Concessionary Fares Direct Payments and replaces the old taxi voucher scheme.

In order to apply for a Transport Related Direct Payment, you will need to supply us with proof of entitlement and a completed well being assessment form.

Once you are in receipt of transport related payments you will automatically be sent a renewal form annually, which will ask you to confirm the details we hold are still correct.
A transport related payment does not affect your benefits.
You can download an application for a Transport Related Direct Payment Form which has a well being assessment. Please print it out, fill it in and send it back to the Direct Payments Team.
