The Access Team is the first point of contact and access for the general public, existing service users, carers, third parties, health and social care professional and other agencies to the Adult Care Service. The team has a key role within Social Services in dealing with enquiries, giving information or advice, sign posting to other organisations or directorates and taking referrals for community services.
The Access Team helps people in need of support to remain independent and living in the community. These services are available to people with a wide range of needs including:
